Take that fucking hill down!

There’s no fun video this week though a full house Friday and tournament-like Saturday with tons of ventrilo nonsense chitchat fun and some really memorable games really made my weekend. Here you have the report.

Friday.

gc458_2x1This was completely my fault. We did a great job. We blew up three out of four APCs, got ahead on the score, defended our positions when possible and retreated when needed and then, knowing Elektro’s APC was following mine I tried a stupid APC assault to the delight of Ghat’s offensive beams… Shame on me.

gc459_2x1After the hilariously great Carter’s video we couldn’t help playing this map. In fact it was almost obliged… even though I agree with Darix. It’s a pain. Once you dig in up the hill and get the score you just won. Luckily for us Ajan seemed to pity our team one man down after Inter’s crash and send a single med to scout our positions. The reception was more than hot… and it blew up giving us the score which we greedily hold despite their waves coming down the damn hill.

gc462_2x1Crinckle make his entrance in the show with a genius fast blow before anyone could expect it. Pity Inter crashed again leaving them with no option but make a suicidal hopeless attack.

gc468_2x1Close, balanced and incredibly intense game. They divided forces and attacked simultaneously by north and south hitting us hard. After fruitless attempts by Darix and me to progress through Ghat and Stat positions I switched south to help crinkle letting us to make a come back in the score. The fight steadily grew in intensity and no less than three times the lead switched between teams in the very last minute. Pure adrenaline.

gc469_2x1We got just flooded. They were too bloodthirsty and too angry after last endgame and we didn’t manage to face so many well coordinated and simultaneous battlefronts. We hold for a while but it grew too much and suddenly we found us swept out of the map.

gc470_2x1And after all that intensity, what better than a full house Heavy Metal 2? Crazy, intense, messy… it was all you would expect from it and it surely sent us all to rest for the night.

Saturday

gc472_2x1I love this rows of matches between same teams as if it were a tournament. Sarvik decided to try a nice plan. He would do a frontal savage fast attack in the first part of the game keeping them busy while I mined and spread out sending my units to battle positions so I could use more units in the last part of the macth. It worked great. To be honest I was going to flank and attack their rear while he was pounding their lines but Carter’s mines stopped me in my tracks and made me turn back to base.

gc473_2x1A drone who didn’t got kills and should be named phoenix considering his ability to get a black bar but not blow up gave us this one. The strategy was again the same. Sarvik got them busy at the beginning, I punished them at the end this time to recover the score as he really got smashed in the attempt to build a base in the middle. It was a slow and difficult task but we got ahead in the score and once they left their base we just played cat and mouse.

gc476_2x1Aaaaand. I felt sorry in this one. They ability to literally hit every single mine on the map made it seem as if we had taken an army of scouts when we just brought one each. It was incredible. And left nothing much to report on this one apart from Carter enjoying our stubbornness for several minutes refusing to call it down even though it was obviously over.

That’s all for this week, folks. See you on the ground in few minutes!
