Well today is the last day of the weekend and it’s time to make a balance (yes i know! and post friday night screenshots of those 3vs3!)… It makes a week now since we came back and perspectives are good, after a week testing the gameranger platform on GC we can fairly say that for a game that is out since 1999 it works really well! Besides… you don’t need to be an expert to start hosting games yourself, it is really user friendly. There is nevertheless a few things you must know about gameranger, this program basically fakes a lan connection between the host and the other players allowing us to not having use the original multiplayer platform from GC (the extinct WON.NET), therefore when you host a match your computer behaves like a server, so if other people connect to it before your pc actually creates it they will lose connection, I know it might be a little confusing that’s exactly why we made an explanatory video viewable at the end of this post.
We are also happy to announce that a few unknown/new players have arrived also some others that didn’t come the week before shown up, which is something that gives us the strength to continue this quest.
After some tests made, we are now also able to post broadcasts(delayed) from some of the matches, we’ve been having some issues on trying to find the best way to do so but we finally made it, expect new links to some EPIC matches soon.
That’s all for now !
